Modex, a blockchain start-up, announced the release of its blockchain-based database platform for easier blockchain deployment, which will be carried out by a major oil and gas company called Dietsmann. 

Simplifying blockchain adoption 

On September 19^th, Modex announced the launch of its recent product, entitled the Blockchain Database Platform (Modex BCDB) which makes it easier for companies to deploy blockchain-based projects.

As per the announcement, Modex BCBD allows the companies to initiate blockchain projects in a matter of a few hours, instead of taking days or even months. The CEO and founder of Modex, Mihai Ivascu, stated:

“With the launch of Modex BCDB, we’re excited to usher in a new era of enterprise blockchain adoption. We’ve developed Modex BCDB specifically with enterprise needs in mind in order to counteract the high barriers to adoption that have typically kept businesses on the sidelines.”

In an interview with a Romanian local newspaper called Economica, Ivascu oted that he was in discussion with the Romanian Bank of Commerce (BCR). As of now, the BCR is not applying Modex’s solutions. 

Dietsmann

Dietsmann, the oil and gas giant, established in 1977 in the Netherlands, is one among the first partners to introduce Modex BCBD to its industries. The company specializes in operating the production services of other firms. 

President and founder of Dietsmann, Peter Kutemann, stressed that blockchain will have a notably positive impact on the company and also enable innovative ways of partnering with its main suppliers and clients. He added that:

“Modex Blockchain Database infrastructure allows Dietsmann to be up and running on a private blockchain infrastructure at low cost in a matter of days, with high efficiency and minimal effort from our technical team.”
